Any local price this platform derives is a calculated reference value, not a dealer quote. Real local prices differ because taxes, import duties, dealer premiums, making charges and spreads apply. This platform does not model those figures and does not estimate them.

Global Gold & Silver historical context

This is the platform's verified global historical metal dataset — monthly USD averages from the World Bank Commodity Price Data ("Pink Sheet"), back to 1960. It is not a reconstructed local-currency price history: no verified historical FX series exists to build one honestly, so none is shown here.

Calculators, in PKR

The same calculators every reader on this platform uses, preselected to PKR for Pakistan. Switch currency, unit, or price source at any time — nothing here assumes a making charge, wastage, or tax rate on your behalf.

Jewellery Value Calculator

Break a jewellery price into fine metal, wastage, making charge, dealer margin and tax — every charge entered by you.

Charges — all optional, all yours

Leave any field blank and it contributes nothing. This platform has no assumed making charge, wastage or tax rate for any market.

Applied to the fine metal value

Applied to the fine metal value

Flat amount, no percentage base

Applied to the subtotal before margin

Applied to the subtotal before tax

Checking the platform reference price… Nothing is estimated in its place.

How this is calculated

Fine metal value is your price multiplied by the fine-metal weight of the piece, with the purity fraction applied first and any unit difference converted exactly. Charges are then applied in a fixed order, each on a stated base: wastage and making on the fine metal value, dealer margin on the subtotal after those, and tax on everything before it. Every subtotal is shown so you can reconcile against your own invoice.
Dealers differ in the order they apply charges, so a total here may not match a specific shop's bill even with identical percentages. Every charge is a figure you entered — none is assumed, estimated, or sourced from any market.

Scrap Gold / Silver Calculator

UnavailableChecking the platform reference…

Estimate what a buyer would pay for scrap, after the deduction and refining fee you specify.

Buyer's deductions — optional, and yours

How far below metal value they pay

Flat amount, subtracted after the deduction

Checking the platform reference price… Nothing is estimated in its place.

How this is calculated

Fine metal value is your price multiplied by the fine-metal weight, with the purity applied first. The buyer's percentage deduction comes off that value, then the flat refining fee. If the two together exceed the metal value the result is shown as a shortfall — the arithmetic is never clamped to zero.
This is arithmetic on your assumptions, not a quote. What a buyer actually pays depends on that buyer. No deduction, fee or margin is assumed by this platform.

How this page works

The PKR figures on this page are a calculated reference: a verified Gold or Silver reference price, converted to PKR using a verified USD/PKR reference rate, then converted to gram or tola and adjusted for purity. Every step is stated below, with its own source and timestamp.

A gram and a tola are both weight units — 1 tola equals exactly 11.6638038 grams. Purity changes how much of that weight is fine metal: 24K is fine (undiluted) gold, while 22K, 21K and 18K each contain a fixed fraction of fine gold by weight (22/24, 21/24 and 18/24 respectively).

This is not the Pakistan Sarafa Association rate, a Karachi or Lahore jeweller's rate, or any local dealer's quoted price. Local buying and selling prices routinely differ from a calculated reference because of making charges, dealer margin, and local supply and demand — none of which this platform assumes, invents, or estimates on your behalf.
